In a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health, Liberia, the National Public Health Institute of Liberia, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, AFENET, and others, training for the Gbarpolu County Rapid Response Team was held in Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County from May 16 – 20, 2022. The revised training materials were piloted. The 18 participants included representatives from Coordination, Epidemiology, Case Management, Environmental Health, Dead body management, Water Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Logistics, Risk Communication Community Engagement (RCCE), Psychosocial, Laboratory, Data management, Animal Disease Surveillance Officers, and Safety and security – joint security.
