On June 24, 2022, Liberia Field Epidemiology Training Program (LFEFP) graduated the thirteenth cohort of her Frontline FETP (FETP-F). The twenty-five graduates included fifteen surveillance officers, one Police officer (OIC), one M&E/Research officer from the Malaria Program, one Research scientist from the Lab, one M&E data officer for TB Control Program, and one County animal health surveillance officer. Others were data officers, GIS technicians, and one training/capacity-building coordinator. They were equipped with the requisite public health knowledge and skills to adequately detect and respond to diseases or events of public health importance, enhancing global health security.
