The Liberia Field Epidemiology Training Program (LFETP) graduated the sixth cohort of her Intermediate program (FETP-IC6) on August 19, 2022. Fifteen trainees drawn from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, and other public health agencies completed the competence-based training. During nine months, the residents were equipped with requisite skills in applied field epidemiology, such as disease surveillance (surveillance data analysis and system evaluation), outbreak investigation and response, data quality and management, observational studies, and public health communication.
